Pro 2 courses are rigorous programs that often occur years after a Pro 1 course. The Pro 2 course comes with a vault of new material while evaluating the participant on both understanding and application of new material, proficiency with Pro 1 topics, and field currency as an operating professional.

The Pro 2 program is decidedly a program worth taking a preparation seminar in advance of in order to refine and hone your skills with the coaching and feedback from a seasoned professional instructor. Whether you are approaching the dates of an upcoming Pro 2 course or working towards a Pro 2 seat in the future; the SAS Pro 2 prep course is an excellent choice to set you up for success. 

This program is run as a 9hr day plus pre-course material to help develop, coach, and refine your skills in operational snow, weather, and avalanche observations, forecasting, hazard and risk assessment and terrain use and decision making at an advanced operational level.
