Geoff Unger is a committed avalanche professional and IFMGA Guide based in Mammoth Lakes, CA. He grew up in Sun Valley, ID and has traveled the mountains of the world for skiing, snowboarding and climbing. Geoff is a professional member of the American Avalanche Association and teaches Professional and Recreational avalanche courses. Geoff also works on the instructor team for American Mountain Guides Association where he has placed a focus on the alpine and ski disciplines. In his spare time Geoff can be found riding his mountain bike or cooking dinner with friends.
