Getting Ready for Next Season

We are already planning next season...First out of the gate is the MOUNTAIN WEATHER WORKSHOP OCTOBER 6-7 which will be held just before 4SAW on October 8. The Mountain Weather Workshop is a 2 day course designed for avalanche practitioners and avid recreational backcountry users. Anyone interested in mountain weather phenomena is welcome to attend, and no previous meteorological education is required. Public safety and transportation professionals are also encouraged to take this course in order to help them understand mountain weather systems and the resources available.  Jim Woodmency will be the instructor.
