COVID-19 Policy for the 2021-2022 Season
As we approach the 2021-2022 season, our main goal is to provide a safe experience for our students, instructors, staff and volunteers. COVID-19 continues to be a problematic situation throughout the United States. We are implementing the following policies for all courses and events operated by the Silverton Avalanche School.
We will require:
Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination
OR
Proof of a negative Covid-19 test within two days prior to the course or event.
Depending on the COVID-19 situation in area, masks may be required indoors.
The acceptable forms of vaccination proof:
An original, official COVID-19 vaccination certificate or photo of an original, official COVID-19 vaccination certificate (For residents of Colorado the myColorado™ app vaccination records are acceptable – all text must be legible. Out of state residents may use a similar app or a cell phone photo). The name on the vaccination record must match the name on the ID of the attendee. The vaccination certificate must match a valid form of identification such as a drivers license or passport.
Fully vaccinated means: you are two weeks removed from your second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or two weeks removed from your single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Dates: If you are attending, your vaccination must show second dose of Moderna or Pfizer, or single dose of Johnson & Johnson, prior to the course or event.
Boosters will be available for persons who have received a vaccination after 8 months.
The acceptable form of a negative COVID-19 test are as follows:
A valid original negative Covid-19 PCR based Test (time-stamped within two days prior to event check-in).
